Master hit, checkmate to the destiny, Paradiso is, according to Virgilio Piñera, the great novel of José Lezama Lima. The culture understood as image and philosophy: as history and even as custom. An inexhaustible book, inviting us all to knowledge, to sensuality and a perennial irony.
