Narrator, poet, editor and screenwriter for radio, television and comics. Her work is dedicated especially to children. Among her books stand out: Tricolor (2003), From the glass (2003), Papatino y Mama-gorda (1992/2008), A better place (1999), Declared desert (2003), The marquis falcon (2004), The most magical witch (2004/2005/2006), Like 6 grains of cinnamon (2007), The shadows walk alone (2007), Playful at night (co-authorship with Alina Torres, 2009) and The backyard of my house (co-authored with Vivien Acosta, 2012). Narrations and poems of hers are included in the anthologies Cuba for kids (1997), Much tale! (1998), An elephant on the tightrope (1998) and A book with many cats (UNIÓN, 2008). She has won La Edad de Oro, Pinos Nuevos, Capitán San Luis and La Rosa Blanca awards. Her stories for adults appear in Cuban, Mexican and Argentinean anthologies, in addition to having been translated into English and German.
