Narrator, poet, journalist and screenwriter of T.V. shows for children, young people, and adults. Member of UNEAC. In her books she has created a world of fantasy and dream filled with characters that Cuban children of different generations know and remember. She is the author, among others, of the books: Curundán and Busula (1992), House in the clouds (1998), From the fan to the hummingbird (2001), Tato the cat 2005), The yellow umbrella (2005), A round old lady (2006), Happiness (2007), Garden (2007), My stories of horses (2009), Dogs of my life (2013), Marcolina in the kitchen (2014). She has won the Ismaelillo (1986 and 1988), La Edad de Oro (1985), La Rosa Blanca (four times) and the Crítica Literaria awards (2005).

This book has the true stories of 31 dogs. A group of short stories, fun and affectionate (of course, some of them are very emotive) that include all kind of information related to the world of hounds.
