Narrator, poet, essayist and editor. Member of UNEAC. He has worked as a literary promoter for more than ten years. He is the author of the books: The loneliness and other lies (story, 2001), Figures of death (poetry, 2006), Word imsomnia (essay, 2007), The immersed island (novel, 2007/2008) and The mild startles (poetry, 2015). He has also wrote several books dedicated to children and young people: Absent Words (2006), Violante (2008/2013), A Place in the World (2009), Come and See (2012), Beware!: Little Girl in the Garden (2013) and Maximiliano (The loony of María Virginia) (2014). He has won the Calendario (2005), Fundación de la ciudad de Santa Clara (2006), Reina del Mar Editores (2007), Herminio Almendros (2008) and the Hispano- American Poetry Juan Ramón Jiménez (2015). Essays, poems, stories and critical articles of his have appeared in numerous Cuban cultural magazines.
