Rogelio Riverón meets again with the Cuban reader through this unpredictable and corrosive novel, which departs from the schema when literarily treating the circumstances of his country with a view that aims to rise above the local. The tiger and the meekness seems to describe the journey of a son to his father, in a prison on the other side of the island, but then that predictable chaining of all road movies will be cut by an overwhelming parable about the probable and improbable on reality (Leonardo Padura Fuentes).
