Narrator Member of the UNEAC. Member of the Union of Women Writers of the Antilles and LART (Latin American Round Table). Author of the storybooks: Anhedonia (1999/2014), Little Woman in blue jeans (2008), Unfaithful and other stories (2009), Live without papers (2010) and 4 Non Blondes (2013). She has also published two novels: Other prayers answered (2003) and The corner of the world (2011). In 2015 the English version of this latest novel, The corner of the world was a finalist for the PEN CENTER USA and Northern California Books Awards. In addition, she has won prizes David (1998), Italo Calvino (2002) and Crítica Literaria twice (2003 and 2017). Texts of hers have been included in anthologies of Cuba and abroad, and have been translated into seven languages.
