The wild pleasure of exploring, as its title announces, is a book that delves into the search processes not only geographical or emotional, but ontological, which leads explorers to the inquiry into being within the most varied political and cultural contexts. Subjects such as loneliness, anguish, uprooting, violence, fear, repression, human curiosity to investigate the unknown, are treated here with high reflective rigor and in a prose of achieved balance between the psychological examination of the characters, the construction of atmospheres and the dramatic succession of the stories.
